Why does a person give their repeat business to a company for over 47 years?
I purchased Elmer's Garage in Brighton in 1965. The former owner, Elmer De Hollander, had done business with Al's father for over thirty-five years. That's a lot of years of continued service. While at Elmer's, real estate opportunities became available. I was able to purchase the professional building next to the garage, the Apothecary, Brighton Collision and Hollywood Service. All of these buildings needed new heating and cooling systems.
There wasn't a question in my mind on who I would contact. Through this work relationship, Hawn Heating has provided quality workmanship, dependability, a courteous and friendly manner, and demonstrated fair and sound business ethics.
Besides using Hawn Heating for my business, I have used them for my residential property. If a problem has risen—like the water tank leaking—all I have had to do was give Al a call and a technician would be on the call. That's what I call service and being reliable. These qualities are not always present today. Hawn Heating has been in buisness for a long time. It prides itself on being a family business that offers quality service.
A few years ago, we had the UNICO System installed in our home. This is an air conditioning unit that could accommodate our home which has radient heat. To install, the system required more construction than a normal unit. My wife was not looking forwrad to all the dust, confusion and mess. However, she was truly amazed at how neat, efficient and stress-free the installation was. Besides providing air conditioning, this system has an air purifier which makes the air we breath cleaner and results in less housework. Now that is a real bonus!
Over the years I have recommended Hawn's services to family, friends and other professionals. Without a doubt they have proven to be dependable, up with the latest techniques and provide incredible service at a fair price.
It has been a pleasure to do buisness with Hawn Heating. I regard them as superior in their work and outstanding in service. They have carried on the family values which first brought about Hawn Heating in the early 1900s. There is a saying that goes "too much is given, much is expected." Here too—Al and his family have given back to their church and community. Another project dear to their hearts is the Rotary. Al and his wife have been active members and given much of their time in helping children with special needs.
